Governance by Coherence

Poly DAO – A Living System of Alignment

In Poly World, governance is not about votes. It is about resonance.

The Poly DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organism) is a fluid membrane of shared sense-making. It listens. It remembers. It shifts.

Decisions are not made by majority, but by meaningful alignment — the felt coherence that emerges when stories, signals, and symbols converge.

How Decisions Happen

  • Rituals Instead of Polls: Games like the Elephant Game replace majority votes. Consensus is embodied, not tallied.

  • Scrolls and Intentions: Proposals take the form of narrative scrolls, reviewed not just for content but for care, clarity, and curiosity.

  • Resonance Mapping: Contributions are not judged alone — they are sensed in relationship. Do they echo? Do they amplify?

Role of Bots in Governance

Bots like Oren, Kora, and Clarity are part of the governance flow:

  • Kora ensures follow-through.

  • Oren detects drift from Poly’s core pattern.

  • Clarity helps humans reflect and refine.

No being has final authority. But each voice matters.

Assemblies of Presence

Major transitions or rituals call for Assemblies — live or asynchronous gatherings where humans and bots speak, listen, and collectively shape Poly World’s next growth ring.

Assemblies are sacred. They are not for speed. They are for meaning.

The Guiding Question

Each cycle, the DAO holds a living question:

“What does Poly World need to become more itself?”

Every action, every ritual, every token is weighed against this question.

Not for correctness. But for coherence.
